October and November college application events scheduled for seniors
Seattle Public Schools will be hosting a series of College Application Completion events throughout October and November. These events are free and open to all 12th grade students.
Resources will be provided to support students with their college applications, specifically their college essay. This includes access to computers, printers and trained writing tutors.
Each student will be given a toolkit with step-by-step guides for applying to local colleges, fee waiver information and writing tips. For more information and to register, visit www.roadmaptocollege.org.

3-7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 18 at Nathan Hale, 10750 30th Ave. N.E.
11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20 at Chief Sealth International, 2600 S.W. Thistle St.
2:30-8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 23 at Franklin, 3013 S. Mt. Baker Blvd.
3-8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 25 at West Seattle, 3000 California Ave. S.W.
3-7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 7 at Roosevelt, 1410 N.E. 66th St.
3-6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 13 at Rainier Beach, 8815 Seward Park S.
2:45-7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 15 at Garfield, 400 23rd Ave.
The Oct. 20 event at Chief Sealth International High School takes place during Seattle Public School’s Family Symposium. The College and Career Readiness department will also be offering workshops at the symposium on "Senior Year for College Bound Scholarship Students," "Graduation Requirements," "Post Secondary Options," and "Planning for College".
