Five students to perform at More Music @ the Moore program March 23
Five students from Seattle Public Schools will perform at the More Music @ the Moore program on Friday, March 23 at The Moore Theatre. The program will feature the region’s finest young musicians mixing up popular and global sounds.
The five students performing from Seattle Public Schools are: Dont'e Johnson, Sam Fair, Jesse Stout and Raven Taylor from NOVA High School, and Malik Meullion from Garfield High School.
More Music @ the Moore is a training and performance program for selected young artists representing diverse music genres. The program provides young artists training and rehearsal time with professional musicians; production and promotional support; recording experience; and the opportunity to perform live in concert at a professional venue, such as The Moore Theatre. Artists are selected through a curated process, recommendations and/or submissions.
There is an 11 a.m. matinee for school groups and a 7:30 p.m. public performance. $12 for students, $15 for adults, if tickets are bought in advance of the show. Tickets are $2 more if bought the day of the show. For more information or tickets: email firstname.lastname@example.org.
